Original 1969 UK Demonstration Only SPSLP 118 Sampler LP
99 copies only were manufactured to be sent out to media people of the time , notifying them of the 'new' offshoot of EMI Records - the 'Harvest' label - This is the copy of Malcolm Jones :-
This remarkable LP comes with a Guarantee Of Authenticity , compiled and signed by the EMI/Harvest label manager Malcolm Jones , who , as he explains on the letter , was the man at EMI who set up and ran the Harvest label , and was responsible for acquiring the finished master recordings from independant producers and artists. A truly fantastic insight into the facts of the setting up of the legendary Harvest label .
I acquired this remarkable item , from a friend of Malcolm Jones , in 1988 ...

The disc has very light use only ....just a couple of small , very very light surface marks on side two .... no label wear , minor trace of spindle use : Graded at EXCELLENT condition.
The Sleeve has light use only .... bright , crisp and clean .... no edge or spine wear .... clean rear panel : EXCELLENT condition.

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system
Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised
I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition
I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions
I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)
I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount are from repeat buyers ( many thanks !) .... and in the event of genuine complaints will remedy the situation as soon as possible
All items carefully packaged using proper cardboard packaging (I do not use low quality preformed mailers)
The discs are placed seperately from the sleeves within the package to avoid splitting or damage . Items are sent promptly - usually within one working day of payment .
