Bad Religion EP 7" - 1981 2nd pressing of 1500 (first was 500) & 1984 reissue
I think a lot of people just consider this part of the first pressing. I never see this mentioned in the auctions, but this is also Epitaph Records' first release. According to a well know fan site, the first pressing of 500 had so much treble the record skipped. The second pressing of 1500 had its own error. To quote:

  • When they came to press up another batch, this time of 1,500, they had the flaw fixed, only for a new one to appear. As was typical for the day, the band had a message scratched on the run-off groove; on one side was written, "We're not Bad Religion..." on the other "... you are". They called down to make sure that the message would be etched into the second pressing, but to their horror, the records came back with "We're not Bad Religion..." "Elipses U R"
Also included is the 1984 reissue called "The Original" Bad Religion. This one is a 12" and has a different mix.
Condition: I don't really know how to grade these professionally. And unfortunately, I've never listened to either of them so I don't know how they play. They both have their share of light scratches, but from what I've read they're most likely scratches on the top of the vinyl grooves, not in them. There are some bigger flaws (not gouges or anything) and I've done my best to photograph examples.
