It is indeed a pleasure for me to write the back log for this album. I have known the subject for more than twenty years and I think he is one of the finest evangelists I have ever known. He has been with me in several revivals and special services through the years and has always had great results for the Lord. Brother Hull is not only an evangelist preacher but has done a lot of singing down through the years; having a group who traveled with him during the fifties and early sixties. They have produced several records; we have all of them and treasure them very highly. When we need a spiritual uplift they surely are a great help. The group still gets together for special occasions and recording sessions. Brother Hull has been the director of the "Back to Bethel Hour" for more than twenty years, which is heard on several stations. He publishes a "News Letter" called the "Revival Review"; supports several missionaries, childrens homes and other worthy projects. There are many ingredients which go into making a person successful. First, he or she must find his or her place in life. In the case of Brother Hull; he was saved at an early age; felt the call to preach, prepared himself, yielded himself and was willing to follow wherever the Lord led. Another major step in the right direction was finding a wife who knew his calling and felt his burden. Mrs. Hull has been a tremendous asset to his ministry. They have a lovely daughter and son; both are dedicated Christians and do a splendid job singing. All of them have made a sacrifice for Brother Hull to be on the road but the safest place in the world is in the will of God. I praise the Lord for the blessed day I met God's servant, John Hull, and as you listen to this recording I pray it will challenge you "born again" believers to look up and live as if Jesus were coming today and you who have never been "born again" will stop now and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
