Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

A hard guitar rock lost highway band that nonetheless attracted attention by record collectors discovering the highly dynamic effort the psychedelic rockers, Agape self promoted their vastly unknown Lp's in the early 70's. The hippie-era hard-rock act delivered the "right" sound led by magic-fingers guitar riffing & lead theatrics, AND powerful commanding vocals dominated in strong-solid self-compositions centered on youth & rebellion with X-ian vibe. One of the best examples to be found, Agape's spotlight was Fred Caban, a young guitar-wizard from Azusa, CA, just 30-49 minutes east of Los Angeles.
Agape released their second album "Victims of Tradition" in 1972, featuring a more progressive hard rock approach with an appeal by delivering a CREAM and JIMI HENDRIX influence, as well self-producing the album with a front cover that pictured the group performing in a graveyard.
Original 1971 & 1972 Agape albums are very rare today, and fetch as much as 300~400+ dollars from collectors due to their excellent tracks and overall loud sound.
Universal collector circles seem to rate this second "Victims Tradition" LP as their best, most sought album -- though not to to dismiss their also rare 1971 first album loaded with strong heavy Cream meetimg Jimi Hendrix guitar moves throughout.
