FOR PERSONAL REASONS, I AM LOWERING THE PRICES ON ALL MY VINYL AND AUCTIONS - SOME VERY RARE ITEMS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND LOWER THAN COMPETITIVE PRICES - GREAT FOR COLLECTORS.

THIS IS ANOTHER ULTRA-RARE 1ST EDITION CLASSIC 1962 SURFING HOT ROD ROCK LP ALBUM BY THE ICONIC GROUP KNOWN AS "THE BEACH BOYS." IT IS ENTITLED "SURFIN' SAFARI" ON THE CAPITOL RECORD LABEL AND NUMBERED T-1808. 

AS FANS KNOW, THE SONGS ARE AMONG THE MOST RARE OF ALL THE GREAT SURFING ALBUMS (AND THERE ARE MANY ICONIC SURFING LP's). I HAVE MANY OF THOSE ICONIC ALBUMS FOR SALE ON EBAY.

ALTHOUGH NOT MINT, THE ALBUM COVER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO MAJOR FLAWS.  THE COVER IS ACTUALLY IN BETTER CONDITION THAN THE VAST MAJORITYOF 1ST EDITIONS I CHECKED ON EBAY.  THE ONLY FACTORS KEEPING THIS ISSUE FROM BEING NEAR MINT IS A LITTLE RING WEAR AND A SMALL DAB OF WHITE OUT (THAT YOU HAVE TO HONESTLY LOOK FOR TO EVEN SEE IT) ON THE BACK COVER (SEE PHOTOS). OVERALL, THIS MAY BE AS GOOD AS ANY OTHER 1ST EDITION MONO ALBUM BEING OFFERED.

THE VINYL PLAYS NEAR MINT AND IS A REAL PRIZE. I PLAYED BOTH SIDES, AND IT PLAYED BEAUTIFULLY.  UNDER A BRIGHT LIGHT, I COULD DETECT A COUPLE OF EXTREMELY FAINT ULTRA-MINOR SCRATCHES THAT TRUTHFULLY IN NO WAY EFFECTED PLAY.  THE RECORD PLAYED LIKE BRAND NEW.

ANOTHER BONUS TO COLLECTORS IS THE FACT THE RECORD ALSO COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL CAPITOL RECORD SLEEVE.

YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS RARE ALBUM THE VINYL HAS FULL GLOSS AND IS VERY HEAVY VINYL. IF YOU ARE GOING TO OWN THIS RARE COLLECTOR'S ALBUM, IT MIGHT AS WELL BE ONE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. CONDITION DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH THESE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE ALBUMS.
