Description
AN ALL ORIGINAL COMPLETE, FIRST ISSUE MONO!!!
- FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION
PLEASE SEE THE IMAGES PROVIDED AND SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADING AND HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER! The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material. By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million!
Catalogue Number: PMC 7607/8
The Vinyl:
Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Vinyl has scratches and marks on both sides please see photos. Have not play tested yet, but from visual inspection, I would expect surface noise and there's a small chance that the stylus will get stuck or may jump when playing either side 3 or 4. please bare this in mind. Obviously would benefit from a clean. But side 1 and 2 is much better than side 3 and 4 and has fewer marks. 1/1/1/1 Matrices.
The Labels:
Each have the 1st press: "SOLD IN THE UK..." statements. side 1 label unfortunately has a strange mark which has slightly splattered on the run out (dry glue?).
The Cover:
NUMBERED/EMBOSSED: No. 0078247 It is from the first printing run, with TOP loading Garrod and Loft house gatefold.
The spine has a slight split to the outer laminate but text remains legible.
Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of Stereo to the back top right.
Quite some wear to the opening and top left corner.
Inners:
Original BLACK inners. They each carry some feathering to their openings with a few slight rips to the windows and edges but nothing major at all.
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL-NOT REPRO!
Pictures: EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL present (John and George, Ringo & Paul) They are ALL ORIGINAL. WITH RARE SPACER SHEET WHICH WAS OFTEN THROWN AWAY!
Poster: VG condition. Full size and with lyrics to the back. NO RIPS or tears! Just some discolouration through age. Blue tack on the corners as it has previously been stuck on a wall. ALL ORIGINAL 1st PRINTING RUN.
Please see all photos.

I am currently selling some pieces from my broad beatles collection so please save me as a seller if you're interested in bits like this. I am gradually improving my collection by finding better condition items and am passing on the slightly lower condition pieces here to someone who may want to improve their own personal collection.
