Description
This is the most stunning "HIGHLIGHT" since i´m a record-collector !!!! It is the genuine mono 1st-pressing with the first allocated matrix numbers XAX 3419-2 G 1 & XAX 3420-1 G 1. This is one of only a handful of such copies. The Ernest J. Day flip back cover does not have "FILE UNDER POPULAR: POP GROUPS" at the top right hand corner as later pressings have. What sets this copy apart from "the handful" and makes it unique is the fact that it has been pressed with side 1 labels on both sides. There is a loose 3rd label (side 2) which should have been placed over the wrong label. It looks like this side 2 label was never attached. The LP has been pressed correctly and has the correct matrix numbers on the corresponding sides, it’s only the labelling that went astray. It may have been a copy pressed when they were first setting up the press for production. The correct side 1 label has the K T tax stamp. The record is graded in EX-- condition. It looks extreme shiny and glossy with any surface hairlines, scrapers and cracklings (no massive scrapers, hangers or other). The labels are in EX- condition and the laminated cover is in EX--condition (near perfect). The original inner-sleeve has some wear.
