This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

Vinyl:
QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 145g
VG.
She does have some many light marks to her...I gave her a gentle professional Vacuum clean and then listened to her all the way through and this is what I found:
There is a revolutioanry light pop at the start of track 1, side 1 but when the audio kicks in with a great thump it disappears and continues on with a lovely rich audio and the occasional very light amount of slight background noise in very brief sections. I then noticed a more prominant revolutionary pop all the way through Fixing A Hole...However she plays through without any jumps or skips.
The bass line was lovely, clean and clear on Mr Kite, with some great escalation I hadn't noticed before-it is that clear!
Then into Lennons ghostly voice shining out on A Day In The Life...
So, as you can see...the audio does remain clear for the majority and I even noticed a few little sections I hadn't heard before:)
The STEREO reproduction still sounds ground breaking!

I also noticed a very different perpetual ending to that of the mono...weird.

There are quite a few light spindle marks, but these are really only visible when angled towards the light.

 "Sold in the UK" central statement. Which has the much rarer extra DOT in the statement to side 1-as can be seen in the photo's provided.
Minimal central hole wear.
'KT' tax code to side 1.

Inner Sleeve:
VG+
 It is an original period die-cut inner with "MADE IN ENGLAND" to the bottom right corner.
NO writing.
NO splits.
There is some discolouration to the paper.


Cut-Outs:
EX
 Superb...Deep green colour.
Just gentle rubbing to the corners.
GREAT


Cover:
VG(+).
The front cover remains lovely and vibrant, as is the back cover and the inner picture really stands out with BRIGHT colours.
There are around 5 spidering lines to the front and a few to the back-but not offensive at all as the colours really detract the eye from this.
The corners are still strong, with the spine remaining superbly solid, legible and perfectly intact.
"PRINTED AND MADE BY GARROD & LOFTHOUSE Ltd."
CORRECT cover, with "Stereo" to the back top right corner.
ORIGINAL 1st print flipbacks present.
Still opens with the crackle as if for the first day :)
