One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, a single cherished and many unplayed lps.

 

1967 UK Columbia EMI stereo 2 LP set SAX 5281-2: Mahler Symphony No. 9 with the New Philharmonia conducted by Klemperer.

UK earliest red and black semi circle pressings, with first type flipback sleeves. I rarely see this very desirable collectable set, that is an outstanding performance, but those I have seen were never as clean as this.

Records in Near Mint condition. Sleeves also near mint with no damage of any kind.

Heard throughout, this played near mint with the minumum amount of pops without even being cleaned.
