1962-1966 & 1967-1970 *EX condition and sound great*
On offer here are two double albums covering the majority of The Beatles' studio output between the years of 1962-1970.
I have listened to sections of ALL FOUR records-and am very happy to say I did not find any jump, skip or stick on my Focus One 1970's record deck.
Each album shone out with solid high peaks and wonderful bassy lows. I just noticed the very odd and occasional light and soft pop here and there...but hardly any at all.
Visually it is difficult to see any marks to them-just hairline marks when angled towards the light...Side one of the Blue Album has a light hairline mark across the disc but I DID NOT notice it on playback-have a listen for yourself as I recorded Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds from this side...Purely superficial.
THE AUDIO WAS TRUELY SUPERB FROM EACH SECTION I PLAYED :)
The harmonica on Love Me Do really kicks in with a wonderful screech!
Both albums are lovely and heavy too.
Both albums are UK pressings and each come with their original lyric blue and red inners, which do have small splits to and some tape repairs them, but otherwise in great condition.
As for the two gatefold covers: no splits or tears here and would frame very well indeed...Please see the detailed images for yourselves...They really stand out with vibrant colours and sharp corners and remain WHITE on the inside panels of the gatefold too.
The Blue album has some spine rubbing as can be seen in the image provided-but certainly not all the way through.
REALLY WELL LOOKED AFTER.
