Description
Offering a set of 2 16" radio transcription disc put out by U.S. Army Recruiting Service and titled Country Style U.S.A. This disc features program 181 on one side with Hank Snow and program 182 on the other side featuring Benny Martin. The disc cover still has the original paperwork from the Army Recruiting Service as you can see. The disc looks to be in very good condition with any scratches being very light. I honestly do not think there are any scratches that would affect any playing/listening.
If interested, please check out the other 16" discs I am listing today.
This disc came out of a personal estate, recording studio of Ron Hartsema. If you have ever heard of the Musical Fountains of Grand Haven Michigan, he was the original voice of the fountains and he created all the music for the fountains. The disc acquired all seemed to be from the 1950's era. I have no way of playing these discs and as most already know, the 16" transcription ones will not play on a standard turntable. From what I was told many are hard to find pieces and that the albums in his collection were acquired and kept in good condition. These albums are all 60 - 70 years old and have been handled and played before on the radio. I have looked over the discs I am listing and am marking them as G as they LOOK to be in good condition. Thanks for looking and reading. ... Mel
Sorry for any inconvenience but I usually ship only to the lower 48 states unless the buyer contacts me first to check on the shipping as Alaska and Hawaii shipping can be much higher.
