According to the SUB POP website, this was a very limited edition color pressing with a different set of songs compared to other pressings of the same album!
 (As well as having different tracks on the CD & CS version of this same pressing!) (Basically, this pressing of the vinyl has JOHNNY GLUE instead of DAIRY QUEEN, & the compact disc & cassette version of this pressing have the opposite)
Collectible limited edition, out of print & very sexy.


Very limited marble multi-color vinyl.

Clipped corner/promo copy, a bit of wear and a seam split on edge
 Vinyl shows signs of play, some scuffs & wear.  Surface noise but no skips
BASICALLY A GOOD STARTER COPY FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T OWN THE VINYL.  A CHEAP LISTENING COPY TO FILL A HOLE IN YOUR COLLECTION, OR JUST UNTIL A BETTER COPY COMES ALONG.  ACCORDING TO PETTE DISCOGRAPHIES THIS IS A $20-$25 RECORD, BUT IN THIS SHAPE, A FRACTION OF THAT

Pette says: Certainly one of the more memorable album covers of all time.  I don't know what it is about this band, but they keep people coming back.  This was probably their most collectible album.  The first pressing was of 1000 on red vinyl.  That one can sell for a fair amount, but not nearly as much as the other color vinyl versions.  There is a grey vinyl pressing of 112 copies.  That pressing came with a copy of the She's Dead 7" on black vinyl (minus the sleeve).  One would think the grey version would be the most valuable, but not so...there is also a pink marble version out there.  The last time it was auctioned, it went for over $350.  I don't know how many of the pink copies were pressed, but it can't be many.  Later on, Sub Pop pressed 1500 picture discs, using outtake pictures from the original cover photo shoot.  These sell for a few bucks as well.

They are known for their simple, loud, yet nuanced punk repertoire, and controversial lyrics. Since the hardcore punk sound of their early days, they have recently developed more of a pop punk influence. Their shows have been notable for some aggressive fights on stage (with the audience and even a cop), and because HeWhoCannotBeNamed performs either in nothing but a jockstrap or totally nude, apart from his trademark wrestling mask, and makes no attempt to hide behind his guitar.
