Description
2 disks by the fabulous Portsmouth Sinfonia The first, "Plays the Popular Classics" is on Columbia. This disk is a Demo copy and is in excellent condition. The second, "Hallelujah" was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. It is in excellent condition and is on the Antilles label and is an import. Brian Eno was, in this group playing a clarinet like no other. The musicians all played instruments with which they had no real proficiency making for an interesting listen—kind of like an eighth grade orchestra. I will be including a second copy of the Antilles record which is mislabeled, containing one side of the Sinfonia and the other with something else! The other Antilles copy is accurately labeled and contains the music as listed on the labels and record sleeve. If you've been hungrying for a sweet pair of Portsmouth Sinfonia LPs, it's time to set the table! Winner pays 5.00 for media shipping to any continental USA address.
