Winning bidder gets five albums total highlighted by two RARE Mobile Fidelity pressings of DARK SIDE OF THE MOON & COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING, along with 3 bonus albums the winning bidder chooses from a collection of five albums from the same or similar genres to include the bands Yes, ELP, Steely Dan, or Rush.

Let's start with #1 and #2 on Rolling Stones list of the Greatest Progressive Rock Albums of all Time:

Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon is the 1st pressing from Mobile Fidelity done in 1979 (as indicated by ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING not in italics… ’81 copy is in italics).  Play tested with headphones and it sounds fantastic, clean with little to no surface noise on my turntable.Again, rated as VG+ but I’d say a notch better.  Sleeve VG to VG+with minor ring and edge wear. Original Mofi sleeve and includes the “AN AUDIOPHILE’S DREAM COME TRUE!” insert.  If you love this album,you’ll enjoy this high-quality pressing. Outer Poly included.  Most of these selling on Ebay for over $100, cheapest as I type this is $155 in similar condition!!

King Crimson’s The Court of the Crimson King is the gem of this offering… great condition and is often considered the first progressive rock album of all time.  This Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs release was done in Sept 1982 and vinyl plays like new on my table listening with headphones…your turntable may vary. Very clean,rated as VG+ but closer to VG++/NM in my opinion.  Being extra conservative, VG to VG+ Cover with some edge & ringwear, crunched corner or 2, and the MoFi label across top of album is bubbling a bit but the artwork is clean, colorful, and vibrant! Orig Mofi poly insert.Absolutely a classic album cover!! Truly a work of art! Poly outer included.  Cheapest current listing on Ebay is $190... average price sold on Discogs is $213!

Value of those 2 albums alone is at least $300 in my opinion based upon online sales data.

But wait, there’s more!! Man, I sound like the My Pillow guy on TV...

WINNING BIDDER - CHOOSE 3 BONUS ALBUMS FROM THIS BATCH: 

The Yes Album (pictured) has clean vinyl, I’d say in VG+.  Minor small scuff or scratch but nothing that shouldn’t affect the playback.  Cover is more in G+ to VG with ring, edge, and spine wear with some visible scratches on front cover. Original Atlantic Insert, Mofi poly inner and outer sleeves.

ELP’s Brain Salad Surgery (pictured) is a great and fun listen! Vinyl in overall strong VG to VG+ but first track on Side 1 has a visible scratch.  Play tested and on my table no noticeable noise during track, just a couple ticks and pops between Track 1 and Track 2 and during 10 or so seconds during quiet intro of Track 2 Toccata… once they start jamming not noticeable even with headphones.  Minor surface noise during quiet passages.  Mofi insert, original poster/lyrics with bands faces. Overall cover G+ to VG with normal wear including ring, edge, andspine wear. If you haven’t listened to this album on headphones, you are missing an incredible experience!!   

Steely Dan’s Countdown to Ecstasy (pictured), not quite Progressive Rock but included here because it’s a great jazz rock album that is an enjoyable listen.  Vinyl is strong VG but I’d say more VG+ with some very minor scuffs and surface scratches. Cover G+ to VG I’d say with wear showing edges, spine and ring with a small part of front cover down to underlying cardboard smaller than a dime. Mofi poly inner.

Rush’s 2112 (not pictured) album changed my life when I dropped the needle back in the day.  Visible scuffs and some scratching on S1… VG I’d say but will play thru, S2 in VG to VG+. Cover G+ to VG with normal wear. No orig insert, Mofi Poly insert. 

Rush’s 2nd Album Fly By Night (not pictured) has some great songs.  Vinyl is G+ to VG, visible minor scratches and scuffs.  Cover VG I’d day with wear showing edges,spine and ring. Original Lyric insert included with Mofi inner & poly outer. Median price of this album is
