FLEETWOOD MAC (Reprise RST-2225, 1975); and
RUMOURS (WB 3010-C, 1976): 2 REEL-TO-REEL TAPES in ORIGINAL BOXES): Both boxes are VG+ with only minor flaws; the tapes appear VG+ or better with original reel labels intact.
Two enormous Fleetwood Mac hit LPs from the twilight of the reel-to-reel tape; both are 7 1/2 IPS, the fast speed that produces the finest sound. The eponymous 1975 album was considered a hit, with tunes like Rhiannon, Over My Head, and Say You Love Me; and Rumours set sales records the next year with Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, and You Make Loving Fun leading the way.
But neither album set any records in 4-track tape sales. The format was just about dead by the mid-seventies (the heyday of the cassette), and these two tapes are very scarce. Low opening bid without reserve; one pair only!
