Hiya:
Here is a set of 2 used but not abused vintage LPs from Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band.
SAFE AS MILK (Buddah Records BDS 5001)
The LP is from 1967. And I'm pretty sure this is the first pressing. It's a red Buddah label. The bumper sticker and the custom inner sleeve is still in there. The bumper sticker still has the unpeeled backing but it does have some thumbtack holes in the corners. The inner sleeve is torn and worn on all three edges. The disc is in ok condition. It has some dust, a fingerprint or two and a few scritches but is far from trashed. Not a minty "collector's copy" but one that's seen some use and appreciation for a lot of years now!The cover is in good condition with some minor shelfwear, ringwear and edgewear. It's also got a small cutout hole. This one is a bit unusual as it's a tiny metal ring in the cutout hole. Like it was punched in there with a handheld device of some sort. I don't recall seeing one quite like this one elsewhere.
FAST AND BULBOUS (Imaginary Records Illusion 002) This UK import LP is from 1988. This is a Beefheart tribute LP with XTC, Sonic Youth, That Petrol Emotion and a bunch of others. The disc is in very good condition. It does not look to have seen a lot of use through the years.
The cover is in great condition. It's been it's protective plastic thingy that it came in since I bought it and it does not show any wear to speak of.
