Description
Here are TWO vintage albums from my collection, offered up for sale: The Lynyrd Skynyrd album "Street Survivors", one is an original 1977 pressing with the "flame cover" and the other is NEAR MINT re-issue with the black cover that was re-issued after the band's members were killed in a plane crash. This is the classic "Skynyrd" released in 1977 by MCA Records MCA-3029 Stereo. Both have been play tested and play excellent! This is a cool set of albums and a great conversation piece! Great songs!
FIRST: The original 1977 1st pressing of Lynyrd Skynyrd's album "Street survivors" with the flame art work on cover. This re-called cover rates VG/VG+, is clean, has great color, only light edge and corner wear, no splits, no tape, no signatures or writing, the binder edge is EX and readable, flame artwork has minimal ring wear! The back has some light ring wear and one area has a small tear to the slick that has been covered with black marker (in a few spots but unobtrusive, see photo). The inside gatefold is clean except at the bottom where there is a bit of light stain looks like from storage. Still has the printed inner sleeve in excellent condition but no longer has the tour dates sheet. The vinyl rates EX, is super glossy and clean, only a few light marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish! The original pressing light brown labels are clean and bright, no stickers or writing.
PLUS: An a re-issue pressing of Lynyrd Skynyrd's album "Street survivors" the cover with the alternate photo and black background, looks minimally handled, vinyl looks rarely played! This cover rates NEAR MINT, is clean, has great deep color with no ring wear, all edges and corners EX and solid, no splits, no tape, no signatures, the binder edge is EX and readable, looks minimally handled! The vinyl rates NEAR MINT, is super glossy and clean, pristine, looks rarely played! PLAY TESTED, plays outstanding from start to finish! The re-issue brown labels are clean and bright, no stickers or writing. (see all photos)
