2 x THIN LIZZY 12" VINYL LP's
THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN
CN2066 1983 PICKWICK RECORDS
Sleeve: Very good but not as new, there is creasing to the upper right corner, light scuffing/shelf marks to edges, the rear has some age related soiling and isn't as white as it once was. However, I do like to be over critical in my descriptions so as not to disappoint. The card is still stiff and colour bright.
Inner protective sleeve: Average/Good. Original plain white paper inner sleeve has some age related yellowing consistent with age but no rips or splits.
Vinyl: Excellent Some very light surface crackle in the intro/runout areas and occasionally between tracks or in the quiet bits.
This in no way detracts from the deep rich sound quality of this classic album, and there are certainly no clicks, ticks, jumps or needle skates.
Inner matrix runout Side 1: CN2066 A//1 V420W
Inner matrix runout Side 2: CN2066 B//1 V420W [There is an area approx. 5 characters long to the left of this which is heavily crossed out]
There is no barcode on the rear of the cover, and this, along with the A//1 B//1 Matrix numbers indicate an original 1984 pressing and not a later re-issue.

Cover: Very Good...some light scuffing/Shelf marks to edging and upper spine also some minor spider creasing. Card is still stiff and colour bright and the opening edge is reasonably sharp.
Inner protective sleeve: Very Good...original inner picture sleeve, no splits.
Vinyl: Very Good/Excellent....Some light surface crackle in the run in/run out areas and occasionally between tracks or in the quiet bits. I listen to all my LP's before selling them and did notice 2 minor ticks towards the end of "The Boys Are Back In Town" on side 1. This is because I was listening intently to identify any flaws what so ever. It's no big deal and does not spoil the track at all, in fact your average listener probably wouldn't even notice. And to us Audio-phobes it just reminds us that we are listening to vinyl rather than a clinical CD or MP3.

These numbers along with the sleeve having no barcode on the rear of the sleeve indicate a 1981 first pressing rather than a later re-issue.
2 great albums with that unforgettable deep,rich Thin Lizzy sound.
