2nd State Stereo Beatles Butcher Cover Yesterday and Today ST 2553
Hopefully I have enough pics so that you can see the condition of the cover and I will try to describe it to the best of my abilities but if you have any questions please feel free to give me a call, text or email.
The cover shows some wear and scuffing but if you are going to peel it the butcher cover should look great. The bottom seam is split and someone tried to repair it with tape which has long since gone away but left its mark. The top seam is intact but there are a few indentations. The back seam has some wear.
The inner sleeve is the appropriate one and none of its seams are split.
The album itself is a bit rough, with scuffs and scratches and while it will play it is more appropriate for framing I believe.
I was incredibly stoked when I realized that I had this as I had never seen one before I had to look it up to see if it was a real butcher cover and sure enough Ringo’s black turtleneck is quite distinct when you know what you are looking for and hopefully the pictures demonstrate this. I had considered having this professionally peeled and framed but decided to leave that decision to the preference of its new owner. Of course it will be appropriately and securely packed and insured. All in all this is a great find that will a true Beatles collector very stoked. I hope you dig it!!!
