3 LPs– Nathan Milstein Violin on Capitol - Brahms Prokofiev Tchaikovsky Lalo NM!


Here to offer are 3 beautiful classical violin concerto LPs from the 1950s-60's by Nathan Milstein all on the Capitol Label in Near Mint condition!

           

 

Brahms: Concerto in D Major, Op. 77

All 3 LP albums are in beautiful condition with original inner sleeves. The vinyl and glossy jackets overall look beautiful and brilliant.  Please read further.  I would grade the vinyl as follows:

Brahms: NM (very brilliant)

Prokofiev/Lalo: NM to NM- (still quite brilliant, but there is a slight sleeve scuff noticeable, very slight, only in certain light)

Tchakovsky: VG+ (there are no concerning scratches but signs of surface wear and some light scuffs, particularly on Side 2).  I tried to capture in the pictures.


All three outer jackets are still well intact and the covers are clean and glossy.  They do show some signs of shelf wear but minimal.  The spines are reasonably intact as well.

The Prokofiev/Lalo jacket is about NM- The cellophane is starting to peal slightly.

The Tchaikovsky and Brahms jackets are around VG – VG+.  They do show some small seam splits, but minimal.  The Brahms spine shows some wear and had the top and bottom edges repaired with scotch tape, but it isn’t truly noticeable at first.  The Tchaikovsky has a piece of scotch tape as well along the back top left edge.

All inner sleeves are original but show signs of age and have some splits and tears. They are fragile.   I will not grade them, but they are original.

I am trying to be honest but please see the pictures for further visual inspection and representation.

 

Overall, these records are a nice representation of Nathan Milstein’s musical talent and are very nice for the violin lover and collector.
