Here's a small lot of four late 1920s Hawaiian 78s.Two are by Sol Hoopii and two are by The South Sea Islanders.FIRST RECORD is a 1928 by Sol Hoopii's Novelty Trio With Andrew Aiona's Saxophone Trio.The Hawaii Nei side has five very light scratches and five light non feelable scratches.Also has four feelable scratches.Side also has some scuffing that won't affect.Does have one kind of large Z shaped scuff that can be felt lightly.Does have some scuff type wear but still has good shine on grooves.Very small to tiny nick near very outside edge on this side only.It's tiny only.The Hano Hano Hawaii side has one very light scratch and three light non feelable scratches.Has one scratch that can be felt lightly.Has some scuffing that will not affect play.Has lots of nice looking shine on grooves.SECOND RECORD is 1929 78 by Sol Hoopii's Novelty Trio With Andrew Aiona's Saxophones.Columbia label # 1729-D.The Na Alii side has two very light scratches and four light non feelable scratches.Also has six feelable scratches.Has some scuffing that will not affect play.Nice shine on grooves.The Hilo side has four very light scratches and two light scratches.Also has seven feelable scratches.Has one deep feeling one inch long ugly looking scratch type dig scuff on this side.It plays through fine but causes a tick and sometimes a pop.Side has some scuffing.Side has good shine on grooves.THIRD RECORD is a 1927 78 by The South Sea Islanders.Columbia D label # 1291-D.The Lei I Ka Mokihana side has three very light scratches and one light non feelable scratch.Has one tiny scratch that can lighhtly be felt.Side has some scuffing which is mostly light.Has one small feelable scuff.Has lots of shine on grooves.The Penei No side has two small light non feelable scratches.Has two very small feelable scratches.Side has multiple mostly light scuffs that will not affect play.Has nice shine on grooves.FOURTH RECORD is a 1928 78 by Norman Clark And His South Sea Islanders.Columbia label # 1474-D.The Goodbye Hawaii side has two very light scratches and four light non feelable scratches.Also has six feelable scratches.Has some scuffing.Has good shine on grooves.The Uluwehi O Kaala side has five light scratches and five feelable scratches.Side has multiple scuffs and some scuffing type wear.Still has good shine on grooves.
