Here 4 well cared for RARE 45 rpm & picture sleeves by Diana Ross and the Supremes offered up for sale/auction: These are rare early Motown Tamla gems circa 1964-5. Two of these early sleeves depict the recalled "Meet the Supremes" 1st cover where the girls are sitting on bar stools! Early Motor city sound relics!!
1st: the Supremes "Where did our love go?" / "He means the world to me" on Motown 1060. Record rates EX, is clean and glossy, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, a very enjoyable listen! The Motown labels are in excellent shape! Beautiful!!! Sleeve rates EX, is clean and glossy, no splits, no tape, no signatures, only light at opening edge, has light age discoloration, has been well cared for! (see photos).
Next.. "Baby Love" /"Ask any girl" on Motown 1066. Record rates EX, is clean and glossy, has been well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish, a very enjoyable listen! Excellent audio quality! The labels are in excellent shape! Beautiful!!! Sleeve is EX, has deep color, clean and glossy, no splits, no tape, no signatures, has been well cared for, only light wear at opening edge, very light wear overall, stunning! (see photos)
PLUS "Stop in the Name of Love" / "I'm in Love again" on Motown 1074. Record rates EX, close to NEAR MINT, is super glossy & clean, looks rarely played, has been well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish, a very enjoyable listen! Excellent audio quality! The labels are in excellent shape! Beautiful!!! Sleeve is EX, stunning!, clean and glossy, no splits, no tape, no signatures. Vivid color!! Very light wear at opening edge, slight age discoloration, has been well cared for! (see photos)
PLUS Another original 45 rpm by The Supremes "Back in my arms again" / Whisper you love me boy" on Motown 1075 . Released in 1965 on Motown records 1075. Record rates EX, is glossy & clean, has been well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish, there are a few pops in "Whisper", no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! Sleeve is EX, is clean and glossy, no splits, no tape, no signatures, deep color, bright white, very light wear overall, has been well cared for! (see photos)
