Our GRADING for pskorst (our sister 78 record ebay name) and us ( bigbillkorst ) is simplified as follows strong V+, V+, strong V, V, weak V, V- and Poor. A strong V+ in my book is going be nearly flawless--or very light flaws--I rarely do a V++--a strong V+ is going be sharp with little to very little wear. A strong V (not +) may have light scratches--nothing significant--no digs here. I suggest trying one of our strong V records or better to get an idea of where my grading is at-- I am very aware of hair cracks, rim chips that affect grooves (and will spot them) and will mention anything that (rule of thumb) you can feel with your finger nail. Luckily my eye sight is good up close so I strive to have very consistent grading.
45RPM This sale is for a 3 EP records with original jackets-- I believe it's a 1953 set of 45rpm (ED 2070 thru ED 2072) of Decca Vol. 1 and 2 and 3 Jimmy Lunceford and His Orch. The songs are on Vol 1 record (label damage on both Vol. 1 labels) Stratosphere strong V (light scratch on this tune), Annie Laurie V+ / Impromptu strong V (another light scratch on this tune), By the River Sainte Marie V+ and Vol 2 Swanee River, Yard Dog Mazurka V+ / Hell's Bells strong V (light minor stuff), Hi Spook V+ and Vol. 3 Margie, Pigeon Walk strong V (minor stuff) / My Blue Heaven, Siesta at the Fiesta V+ These 3 circa 1953 45 records are in about overall strong V to V+ mostly light scratches or minor flaws--clean overall --no big flaws. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have light wear--for some reason the Vol 1 labels are damaged (paper missing both sides on the Decca part) Will be in a 3 original 45 sized heavy jacket sleeves--the Vol 2 has the most spliting on the jacket--halfway across the top 2/3 inch on bottom, the others jackets splitting is less then an inch on the seams--they all show some wear--the Volume 1 in scan is about what the other 2 look like--no ink--the Vol. 1 is the only one with a price tag--the back has a nice biography type thing.
