  • As well as this being a fascinating jazz encyclopedia including many jazz star biographies, there are also 6 signatures on the many photos that are included. There are nearly 100 pages of photos of dance and jazz bands and individual artists. The autographs are of Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker, Jimmy McPartland, Vic Dickenson (on a nice Basie band photo), Tommy Potter in a photo with Bird and Miles and Bud Freeman on a piece of paper stuck into the book

  • Here are the details:

  1. The book is a second printing in 1956 and is hardback and contains over 350 pages. There is a llittle play on the spine but this is a small defect and there is no dust jacket

  2. I am very confident that the signatures are genuine based on my knowledge of where this book came from

  3. Shipping within the US will be $4.00 media mail. Rates outside the US will be advised and items will be sent by airmail. Whereas it quotes shipping abroad at $18, this does not apply to Canada where the charge is $10. Insurance within the US is a further $1.75 up to $50 cover if you require it.

  4. Full refund is given for any reason if goods are returned within 10 days of receipt
