We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. MEGA RARE ... Rare as it is, was quoted a $2000 valued LP as far back in the early 90's last century, very few original copies have turned up since then but the internet provided a few more over the years and still a high level collectible!
Make no mistake, this is the ORIGINAL 1969 album

Though Le Orme are best known for having released early 70's progressive albums, becoming major stars in that field - this first album is soaked in psychedelics ..."Ad Gloriam" is a colorful album blending that whimsically paisley British Swinging London acid elements including great vocal harmonies, backwards guitar loops, freakbeat allusions & trippy sound effects injections - and some exquisite arrangements ...an answer to the Beatles "Sgt Pepper" meeting Pink Floyd "Piper At the Gates Of Dawn" ...This is highly recommended to fans of the earliest works of rock bands, such as Beatles or Pink Floyd sixties psych Lp's...
"Introduzione" Right from the start, the listener is treated to a trippy psychedelic piece, with warbling guitar all over a call-and-response bass and organ. Quite possibly this could have been the introduction for a hip TV sitcom at that time.
"Ad Gloriam" Following a brief vocal bit, pleasantly light rock music ensues. A repeated melody hangs out in the background, as though in its own world. This is a great song, and we were pleasantly surprised the first time I heard it.
"Oggi Verrà" Light cymbals and percussion with a thudding bass and whimsical flute accompany fragile yet pleasant vocals.
"Milano 1968" Bright organ and trebly bass engage in a psychedelic dance before spoken word and light singing take over.
"I Miei Sogni" Slide guitar fed through dozens of effects introduces heavy tom work before further cool psychedelic rock of the 1960s comes through.
"Mita Mita" Le Orme demonstrates great use of exotic instrumentation in this light and buoyant song.
"Fumo" Juxtaposing quieter vocal passages with heavy organ-driven sections, this piece has some bizarre belching effects in places, and all of the instruments seem to be doing their own thing, yet it all comes together nicely.
"Senti L'Estate Che Torna" This is quite an enjoyable song that is nicely styled music both in composition and in sound.
"Fiori Di Giglio" Following a somewhat exotic introduction, more pastoral textures ride in, over which is spoken word from what sounds like a very young girl.
"Non So Restare Solo" Plinking quarter notes with a whistling organ underneath work with the relatively dynamic rhythm section to support the straightforward vocals. With the backup singing on the chorus, the music really does sound like a popsike song from the UK swinging London period of music. The instrumental segment involves gritty guitar and soon after, a drum solo.
"Conclusione" This final ditty involves the strumming of an acoustic guitar, honky-tonk piano, and some lazy vocals, like a rural tune drunkenly sang at a saloon.

- The cover: rated: VG+(+) generally the delicate highly colorful gatefold cover is very fragile, here in GREAT condition considering it's low production teen-scene handling from 50+ years ago. Downgraded only for a not easy to see crease at bottom right, otherwise VERY solid, the front & back is nicely laminated, back cover no crease ... altogether, no split seams, no delete, no other creases or bends , no writing ...serves as a delightful visual addition to anyone's collection!
- The vinyl: Rated: VG ...like noted above a teen-scene record and has been handled...there are numerous LIGHT slide marks from paper inner sleeve and LIGHT hairlines but nothing strong. However nature of quiet "flowering" interludes and sound effects do present crackle, mostly low but there. Both CAR JUKEBOX labels are CLEAN
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
