RECORD since it's an item of high value and legitimate rarity we took a closer look at the record with ...... enlarging glass. First, we couldn't find any spindle marks which could imply that it has never been played before we tested it ourselves; there were couple of faint scuff marks visible only under strong enlarging glass otherwise we'd have to go into molecular structure of the vinyl to find any fault with it. We tested the record and the sound is as fresh as it could be - there's some minor background noise at the beginning but it disappears as the songs go on (we have brand new records with the same level of light background noise).
There's some irregularity with the shape, looks like quarter of a mil 'wave' which is barely visible with naked eye, the needle will lift during the playback a little but it doesn't have any detrimental effect on the sound, so no skips no audible crackle; we tried to capture that in the last two photos but it's next to impossible task since it's so minute. By the look of it, this single missed out on parties by accident or design back in the day, once it had been bought it was put into storage and forgotten. The labels are clean of any writing but have some minor wear from storage and passage of time.

Records Grading Guide:
Mint (M): No marks, no faults, as if just left the record shop; perfect in any aspect.
Near Mint (NM): Sporadic, barely visible, microscopic scuff marks that will not have adverse effect on playback. Deep, original shine.
Very Good ++ (VG++ or EX): No scratches; some visible light scuff marks on parts of the surface.
VG+: Very minor light scratches, odd scuff mark but retaining original lustre. Well looked after.
VG: Number of scratches and scuff marks; loss of original shine; spindle marks. Occasional audible pop and crackle.
G: Considerable number of light scratches and scuff marks that will be audible.
