Bessie Smith Vol. II "Empress Of The Blues" - Columbia C-142
Set of four 78rpm records from 1947 in excellent E condition. Glossy with some very light surface scuffs. All play excellent. Album in VG+ condition, light wear. Titles are: Gimme A Pigfoot, Take Me For A Buggy Ride, Do Your Duty, I'm Down In The Dumps, See If I'll Care, Baby Have Pity On Me, New Orleans Hop Scop Blues, and Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out. Sidemen include Clarence Williams, Charlie Green, Frankie Newton, Jack Teagarden, Benny Goodman, Chu Berry and others. Please see images for details.
