Description
Buddy Rogers and his California Cavaliers on 1932 Victor 24015. Happy Go Lucky You and Broken Hearted Me, along with In My Hide-Away. Graded E-. In the mid-1920s, Buddy Rogers began acting professionally in Hollywood films. His most remembered performance in film was opposite Clara Bow in the 1927 Academy Award winning Wings, the first film ever honored as Best Picture. A talented trombonist skilled on several other musical instruments, Rogers performed with his own jazz band in motion pictures and on radio. In 1932, he signed with Victor and recorded 4 sweet dance band records. This is one of them. See photos for label condition. Check out my other records! E. Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear.
E-. Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few light scratches.
V+. Average condition 78 in which scuffs, surface scratches, and use have dulled the finish somewhat.
V. Less than average condition, but still considered playable. Scuffs and surface scratches throughout.
V-. Playable but quite heavily grayed throughout. The type of 78 you would typically see in a stack without sleeves for 50 years or more. If you want the title, it’s still worth it.
P. Wall-hanger.Love the label and title? Would look great on the wall.
Shipping and handling
It costs $3.00 per record to make sure your record arrives safely. It will be sandwiched by cardboard pads, surrounded by peanuts or crumpled newspaper, and packed securely in a 12” x 3” box. Shellac records are very fragile, and I want your record to arrive safely in one piece.
