Description

78 rpm pre war Creole. Bayou Ballads of the Louisiana Plantations sung by Marguerite Castellanos-Taggart with piano accomp..Rare three record set on Victor- album M 728, issue # 2213-2131-2132. Records are like new, album is E+, includes original brochure. Songs includeVous T'e In Morico(You are a Blackmoor), Suzanne, Suzanne Jolie Femme(Suzanne pretty girl), Tan Patate la Tchuite(When Your Potato's done), and more..Each side of the 78s are divided into 2 bands, so there are 4 cuts per disk, and 3 disks, so 12 songs. Great stuff for Creole, Negro, slave, early Americana interest.

They are play graded on a modern turntable using a new Stanton 2.7 mil stylus. I have been collecting, buying, selling, packing and shipping for decades so have experience in all of these aspects, so please feel free to bid with confidence!

Winner pays postage at cost. Domestic and international bidders welcome. Paypal accepted. Please see other auctions for more 78s as I am happy to combine shipping to save postage. Media mail shipping in the US...First Class International for overseas..plus $3 per parcel to help offset the cost of new boxes, cardboards, packing material..That charge is per box, not per record, so multiple wins shipped together are economical!

Thanks
