Description

A collection of twenty 78rpm records by the one of the most popular actresses and musicians of the 1930s, Gracie Fields. 12 records are contained within a period album, the rest in loose sleeves.  Record labels include His Master's Voice, Regal and Columbia.  Titles include In the woodland she said she would, My Ohio home, Over the Garden Wall, I'll be good because of you, When we all went to the zoo, Now that you're gone, Say it isn't so, Gracie in the children's ward, Land of hope and glory, The holy city, I'm sending a letter to Santa Claus, Our Gracie with the boys in France, Little curly hair in a high chair, Far away, Danny Boy, Sally, Because I love you, Why does the hyena laugh - and many more besides.
