Our GRADING for bigbillkorst2 is E+ (or NM) E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. strict grading Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 4" box. We have had few problems with damage on the records we have shipped so far.
78RPM Harmony 1226-H Fred Rich v Dick Robertson, Buddy Berigan (may be his 1st recording, see the sleeve for my dad's notes about this record) - Body and Soul / Russ Morgan - I'm Yours, used V to V-. This rare c1930 record, I played parts of both sides and thought most areas sounded average. On Body there is scuffs and feelable abrasions at 7 + 10pm (photos) on the last third of that side that are nearing VG- sound with more noise there. Visually this is consistent marks medium flaws and some scratches. There is a 1.25-inch hair crack from edge (last few photos), that I did not hear much of. The end of Body soul is worst area--with the scuffy scratchy spots, see photos above. Graded visually. Labels have a medium wear. Will be in the sleeve it has been stored in for decades.
