Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst2 (our sister record ebay names) is E+ (or NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 4" box. We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far.
78RPM Okeh 6451 Billie Holiday - Gloomy Sunday / I'm In A Low Down Groove, clean, solid play V to V+ to V This original Okeh label (they redid on Columbia, 6 years later) 78 record, I played the Gloomy side all the way through (no glitches or skips)--it sounded clean medium average--it does have some consistent crackles on that side but not too bad, the Groove side is less crackly--still a solid 78 sound, visually this is a medium average V, this is consistent medium average wear--not much else, no big or notable flaws, see my 11 photos above to judge the surfaces for yourself. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have medium wear. Will be in a pretty nice (some medium creases--not bad) original Okeh sleeve. This comes from the great bigbillkorst2 Jazz collection.
