The Summer Of Vintage Vinyl or One A Day Vinyl… That’s what it’s gonna be with my eBay listings for the next hundred days so check in daily for some amazing remnants of my days spent in the world of recorded music. From Beatles to Zappa, we will be offering vinyl with stickers, posters, inserts, white labels, limited editions and some still in factory shrink, but after twelve years and two thousand listings its time to bring the curtain down and “everything must go”. Number 21 on our 100 must go is one of those dye stamped RCA impressed “Not For Sale Promotion Copy” but rather then being stamped on the back side on the album it appears in the upper right side corner on the front. From 1975 we have for a no reserve auction what appears to be a lightly played, well cared for, promotional copy of David Bowie’s, RCA Records release “Young Americans”, catalogue # 0998. Vinyl has a nice gloss surface, perfect tan tone RCA labels and disc retains its black lyric inner paper sleeve. Jacket has survived in very nice condition with textured surface, good color, corners and no ring wear or cut through but does have the “promo” impression. Selections: Young Americans, Win, Fascination, Right, Somebody Up There Likes Me, Across The Universe, Can You Hear Me, And Fame.
