Description

The 80s gave us many hard rock and heavy metal bands that were great. Three of those awesome artists are featured today, as well as a complilation album with TEN of the greatest metal bands from that rockin' decade!

First up is Whitesnake, and their fourth studio album titled 'Come An' Get It', from 1981. The band was really starting to become famous worldwide, and this one showcases their bluesy hard rock sound. Whitesnake members Jon Lord and Bernie Marsden, who both played on this album, have since passed away. (RIP Jon and Bernie. You guys were both awesome musicians, who helped forge a unique sound for Whitesnake, and you are both missed!)

The vinyl itself looks pretty good, but with a few very light surface marks on both sides. Nothing too bad, and no heavy scratches, gouges, or scuffs. The jacket has signs of its age, with some shelf-wear, mainly on the corners. But holding up well! This is the censored version, as the snake's mouth has been airbrushed. (Look up the other version. You'll see what I'm talking about! Lol) A very cool vintage Whitesnake LP.

Next up is Gary Moore. Moore was a guitarist in Thin Lizzy, and Skid Row (the Irish band, in the late 60s and early 70s. Not the American metal band.) Moore also had a successful solo career, and was considered one of the world's best hard rock, metal, and blues guitar players! In 1985, Gary Moore released an album called 'Run For Cover'. It's loaded with special guests, such as Phil Lynott (from Thin Lizzy), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath), and Don Airey (Ozzy, Sabbath, Whitesnake, etc.). This also features several powerhouse rock music producers on different songs, such as Peter Collins (Rush, Queensryche, etc.), Mike Stone (Queen, Asia, Journey, Whitesnake, etc.), Andy Johns (Rolling Stones, Free), Beau Hill (Ratt, Alice Cooper, Winger, etc.), and engineering by James "Jimbo"Barton (Rush, Queensryche, etc.)! What a cast of characters...

The Gary Moore vinyl looks good, with only a few really light surface marks on it. Nothing too bad, and no deep scratches, gouges, or scuffs. Jacket looking really good, with a little shelf-wear on the corners and spine. Gary Moore and Phil Lynott have both passed away, so this is a very cool momento of both of those guys! (RIP to Gary and Phil. Both of you were amazing musicians who played in bands together and stayed friends through the years. Both of you are missed!)

Last of the three is Germany's premier hard rock and heavy metal band the Scorpions. The Scorpions released a live album called 'Worldwide Live', in 1985. That same year, and just ahead of the album's release, the Scorpions released a three track 12" EP, containing the live versions of "No One Like You", "The Zoo", and "Big City Nights". ("No One Like You" was released as a single.)

The Scorpions' vinyl record looks really good, and is still shiny and clean. The jacket is in very good shape, as well, but with a little shelf-wear, mainly on the corners. Still in really great shape for something that's going on FORTY years old!

Last, but not least, we have a complilation album with TEN different artists and their hits! There's Twisted Sister, Dio, Helix, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, and more! Titled 'Slave to the Metal', with crazy cover artwork; this record rocks! Ten songs from ten bands, and each one a hard rockin' hit. The vinyl looks great, with only a few very light surface marks that I can see. No scratches, gouges, or scuffs. Jacket looking really good, too. Light shelf-wear on the corners and spine of the jacket.

A total of FOUR 80s metal records, each one a hard rockin' work of art, and each one a really cool collectible to have! Relive that awesome decade of great music with this four pack. Available now, and at a nice price!
