Description

Exceedingly rare, first pressing, white label promotional copy of one of the odder records from the estimable Elektra catalog. Released in 1971 as EKS 75012, it features many a stoned luminary such as: Ron Jacobs, Michael Gwynne, Carl Esser, Cyrus Faryar, Peter Bergman, et al. This copy has aged quite well, unlike ditch weed. The jacket is well intact and the only signs of wear are typical scuffs and a touch of rub wear at the corners. Still glossy. Inner original Elektra paper sleeve is still well intact, too. The wax is in especially sound condition. Pretty close to Mint, about as close as an unsealed LP can be. Still quite lustrous. It shows a couple of teeny, tiny scuffs when held up to blazing light. These are barely discernible and have no negative impact on the sound quality which is just as pristine as the wax. Lovely butterfly-style gatefold may give you the munchies if you go and stare at it for too long. 50 years later and this oddity is still relevant as ever in many states!
