Description

A genuine UK 1st MONO press from 1964. Matrix 1/1. Note the label design is perfectly consistent with 1st pressing and 'recording 1st pub' is exhibitting. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in original mono paste-over cover. We also have the original inner sleeve date to Xmas 1964. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex) In super shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A real nice player and very clean even into the quieter tracks. E.g. Colouring Book and Mockingbird. Given the vintage I'd argue very very appealing. A few crackles in one brief spot per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A consistently high standard of playback.
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage extremely impressive. These paper pasted rear covers are rarely going to be looking this tidy after this period of time. A lovely shiny and flat front - nothing worse than a couple of minor stress creases. The rear has escaped most of the ageing process - just a bit in evidence at the edges. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture. Dated top right corner.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
