Description
A MEXICAN ON BROADWAY, Pepe Jaramillo, original UK 1962 Parlophone black and gold stereo LP.
PCS 3033, original UK 1962 black and gold stereo Parlophone record labels.
A UK stereo copy in original condition, featuring:1. a hard to find original first issue UK stereo copy from 1962,
2. original UK 1962 black and gold stereo Parlophone record labels,
3. side one of the record features very early ‘mother/ stampers’ of, ‘1R’,
4. the record features the earliest ‘mothers’ of, ‘1 and ‘1’,
5. the card sleeve is made of the period, thick heavy card,
6. the record comes with its original ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The laminate has an excellent, quality glossy finish and has just two slight ‘thumb’ creases. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original period, 1960s tri ‘flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear there is some slight signs of ageing to the opening edge.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. The inner sleeve features an unusual ‘grey’ text and features the earliest text of ‘Patents applied for’. On one side, on one side edge there is some age related ‘tanning / foxing’. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in near excellent condition. The record is made from the period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.
The matrix are: YEX 78 - 1 and YEX 79 – 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘1 R’ and ‘1 0’,
THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent++, side one plays with excellent quiet grooves. Side two plays near excellent, as I did hear some light ‘ticks’ on track five, otherwise side two plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full powerful, clear period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE RECORD LABELS: side one is in excellent++ condition. Side two is in very good++ condition, as it appears to have a pressing fault, possibly due to the printing / label application process. The letters ‘ZT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
