Description
You are bidding on a very rare 45 rpm record that was released in April or 1964. This, fifty year old record, is a six minute interview with the Beatles, done by Lee Alan, who was a top DJ from Detroit, Michigan back in the sixties. Lee Alan was granted this interview by the Beatles at the Deauville Hotel, in Miami Beach, Florida on February 19, 1964, while the Beatles were there for there performances on the Ed Sullivan Show, this is the earliest known interview by the Beatles on vinyl known. This record was given free to those who purchased the Lee Alan story on his meeting with the Beatles, you can see that on the record it says, "A free item, for private use only". Please let it be known, I am not a record collector, what you see, is what you are bidding on, so look close at the photos prior to bidding. This record plays without sticking, or skipping, is not warped, and lays flat. There is shelf wear on the label that may clean off, I am not going to touch it, I will let the buyer do this. There are minor scratches on the record, (they look worse than they are due to the camera flash), that do not affect the playing of the record. All I have is the record, no sleeve, no story, just the record that you see in the photos. There are two other records for sale on the web with asking prices between $500 and $775, I am starting the bidding at less than half of these prices.
