Up for auction is a Mint copy of The Beatles masterpiece Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
This is an Ultra High Quality Record that was pressed in Japan on 200 grams of High Definition Super Vinyl in July of 1982. It is number 4566 out of a total of 5000 pressed.
As you can see in the photos, the box is in great shape. It shows only the slightest shelf wear. I will grade the box as very CLOSE to Mint.
The inner sleeve has absolutely NO seam splits at all. I will grade the inner sleeve as MINT.
All inserts are included. The certificate of authenticity, technical data sheet and registration card are in Near Mint condition.
The vinyl itself is PLAY GRADED as MINT. I just listened to this album in its entirety as I recorded it digitally. It is without a doubt, the cleanest piece of vinyl I have ever owned. There were only a handful (less than five) of the slightest ticks scattered about the record. When I say slight, I mean slight, because I monitor the recording process through my Sennheiser HD-650 headphones at a fairly loud volume level. So if they were slight during my listening experience, you may not even notice them. But I do mention them in the interest of full disclosure.
Record has been cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine, with Disc Doctor Miracle record cleaner, then rinsed with distilled water. Then cleaned with LAST Extra Strength record cleaner then finally treated with LAST record preservative. The record now lives in a brand new Quality Record Pressings (QRP) anti-static record sleeve. I will also include an outer sleeve to protect the box from any possible shelf wear. I will also include the original anti static sleeve that came with this record.
