Hi,
Having a clear out of my record collection and for sale her I have the mega rare AC/DC Live Wire/ High Voltage 7'' vinyl with picture sleeve. This definitely one for a keen AC/DC fan or collector and is highly sought after.
I have owned the record since its release in 1976 and if I remember rightly only played it a couple of times after purchase and it has just been stored for the last 40 odd years. so the vinyl is in very good condition. The sleeve has the expected discoloration from 40 years of storage but is showing no tears, stains or seam splits. There is also no writing on label or cover. Please see photos for exact condition. The picture sleeve shows Angus Young dressed as a schoolboy and if I remember rightly was subsequently banned and changed to a plain cover etc, though I am sure if you are looking at this you know the story.
The record, in conjunction with the picture sleeve is extremely rare so I have set the initial bidding price at £150.
This is still a good starting price and of course sensible offers are invited. I am not a dealer, but have an idea of its rarity and potential value so no silly offers please.
Because of the value, it will be sent to purchaser by secure delivery.
It is also advertised for sale elsewhere so naturally I reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell through another channel.
