Description
Great & rare AGENT ORANGE : "VD" also known as the : "Hello boy friend, coming my way ?" Original 7" EP on NEW WAVE RECORDS (NW 002 - French legendary label) from 1984. ONLY ONE TIME FRENCH PRESSING RELEASE...
This is classic early dutch hardcore. This is great music. Whining guitars leap forth as a savage ensemble engages in sudden rages of rigorous combat. A whirlpool of alarming breakneck speed and forcefulness, especially in blitzing cuts like "Herpes" and "K.K.K."
MINT CONDITION.
Comes with its original & recto / verso printed (colored) three parts cover (W/ lyrics sheet + pictures). Sleeve has just very very light age/shelf wear. Vinyl is MINT. Check picture. It's ultra rare by now...

A part of history for that band :
Without doubt jesus and the gospelfuckers were amsterdam's most infamous and obscure band. They started out in 1980 as a pistols influenced punk band, not long after that they discovered the mighty discharge (Their all time favorite band). The discharge influence is definitely there, but with a style all of their own, great raw musicianship and gliding guitarsolos. The band was very infamous, because somehow they always managed to get into fights. They didn't have any problems finding trouble. Because of all the controversy and violence, they changed their name later into GENOCIDE EXPRESS, who have 3 songs on the pushead's classic compilation lp Cleanse the bacteria. Not long after that, most band members started Agent Orange, who released 2 7"s : Your mother sucks cock in hell (Graaf Hendrik records) and VD (New Wave records).
The gospelfuckers kind of grew into a myth over the years, also because they only released a demo tape. Many "popular" labels wanted to release it, but their former band members didn't care that much... Dutch best punk/hardcore from the early 80's... Check my site : http://membres.lycos.fr/ultrahc/
