Condizioni : la copertina laminata frontalmente mostra sul retro un certo ring wear che nasconde parzialmente alcune lettere della scritta "Garcin et Romain", si osservi per cortesia la scansione n° 2; grande stato, EX+ / il vinile mostra alcuni leggeri o moderati segni superficiali e qualche traccia di opacità nel secondo lato. L'ascolto rivela scarsissimi difetti: giusto un paio di modesti clicchettii; bello stato, VG++

Condition : front laminated cover shows some ring wear on the back partially hiding some letters of the words "Garcin et Romain", please look at the scan No. 2, EX+ / vinyl shows some light or moderate surface marks and a few cloudy traces on the second side. Listening reveals very little flaws: just a couple of light clicks, VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : tutte le cinque tracce riflettono bene l'ottima personalità artistica di Goraguer ma certamente il secondo lato dell'extended play offre due brani veramente esaltanti. Cominciamo con ordine: "Paris Secret" è un tema romantico con qualche vocalizzo femminile in sottofondo, "Black and White" è caratterizzato da musica ragtime di buona qualità, "Travestis" dà inizio alla musica jazz con buone sonorità della tromba su un ritmo lento e riflettente un'atmosfera malinconica. Il secondo lato: "Promenades au Bois", che tutti possono facilmente ascoltare sul web, è un eccitante brano jazz con sfrenate improvvisazioni ed assoli di tromba mentre le percussioni, inizialmente in sottofondo, assumono successivamente poi vigore ed ossessività. "Train Fantôme" è il proseguimento della precedente traccia con tromba sempre in evidenza, assolo di batteria e supporto del basso.

Notes : all five tracks reflect well the excellent artistic personality of Goraguer but certainly the second side of the extended play offers two truly exciting tunes. Let's start with order: "Secret Paris" is a romantic theme with some female vocalization in the background, "Black and White" is characterized by ragtime music of good quality, "Travestis" initiates the jazz music with good trumpet sonorities on a slow rhythm reflecting a melancholic atmosphere. The second side, "Promenades au Bois", that everyone can easily listen on the web, is an exciting jazz tune with wild improvisations and solos of the trumpet while the percussions in the background at the beginning, gradually increase in intensity with obsessive sonorities. "Train Fantôme" is the continuation of the previous track with trumpet still in the foreground, drums solo and support of bass.
