ALBERTO BALDAN BEMBO -  IO E MARA on CGD (FGS 5047) from 1969
Description: 1st original Italian pressing on rare and collectable CGD label out of Milano, Italy. A very rare, seldom seen and stylish soundtrack by famous music composer and arranger Alberto Baldan Bembo feauturing Rolando Ceraglioli (drums), Pasquale Liguori (percussion), Carlo Milano (bass), Bruno De Filippi (guitar and Sitar), A.B. Bembo (piano and organ) and Mara (?) on sexy vocals.. Bembo is gettin' really hot today and this Lp is killer! Stylish samba and hard bossa with sitar breaks a la Alessandroni, tuff congas, funky rhythm on “Ore 24”. More lounge jazz tunes on the Morricone-like “Ore 18”, “Ore 20" and “Ore 22 (Domenica)”. The killer psychedelic jazzy hammond /w erotic spoken scats by Mara on “Ore 22 (Ti amo da morire). Many tracks comped on Easy Tempo compilation back in the days. Guido Crepax’s art cover is simply AMAZING! All time favourite and very rare Lp!
Conditions: Original picture sleeve cover is M- but I would grade it like VG+ because a sticker removed a part of the art cover in the top left corner (visible on picture, please ask for details). Record is stong VG+, visually played once, but there are some light marks that not affect playing. Really a fantastic copy!
