I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE BEST NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / HEAVY METAL / HARD ROCK COLLECTION I HAVE SEEN IN 35+ YEARS. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM AN INDUSTRY PERSON WHO WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY BETWEEM THE LATE 70'S AND LATE 80'S SPECIALISING IN ONLY NWOBHM / HARD ROCK / METAL ETC....so keep watching over the next few weeks, as a lot of the items I have for sale never been offered before, most come with letters and promo inserts etc....
This is a RARE AND UNIQUE UNRELEASED ONE SIDED ABBEY ROAD ACETATE by THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND from 1977, ORIGINAL ACETATE IN BARELY PLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!!
This is a unique acetate as it is an unreleased track "NO COMPLAINTS DEPT." the track was suppose to be included on the band's "ROCK DRILL" album, but for some reason has been pulled before release. This acetate was sent to a major UK radio station in order to get some plays as Alex Harvey loved the track, as you can see from the label although the timing written on the label was 5"03 the radio person wrote the actual timing on the label as 4'56 for radio plays purpose. The track is also considered amongst fans to be one of Alex Harvey best songs (from what I read on line).
This ONE SIDED ABBEY ROAD ACETATE is in much better condition them most acetates and was only played once back in day (and once by me to check).
The ACETATE was pressed in 1977 at ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS.
The track is: NO COMPLAINTS DEPT..
This ONE SIDED ABBEY ROAD ACETATE single comes in the original WHITE DIE CUT SLEEVE which has got brown over the years from the acetate, and the condition of the ACETATE is VG++ (visual) VG+ (sound) (PLAYED A COUPLE OF TIMES ONLY, plays with a tiny bit of crackle as can be expected, but nothing to detract from the music, minor age spots).
DON'T LET THIS RARE UK UNRELEASED ABBEY ROAD ALEX HARVEY ACETATE single get away as you will NEVER see another one.
