ALP 1411 – OISTRAKH / YAMPOLSKY – PROKOFIEV etc.
HMV mono recording on original red/gold label, David Oistrakh and Vladimir Yampolsky playing Prokofiev’s Violin Sonata No.1 in F minor Op.80; Leclair’s Violin Sonata No.3 in D major; Locatelli’s Violin Sonata in F minor (Au Tombeau) arranged by Ysaye.
The disc has 3 light noticeable scratches on Side 1 (Prokofiev) but we can detect only 4 light ticks. There is 1 random tick on Side 2. The sleeve is VERY scruffy with corner and edge wear, some laminate lift, evidence of taping on top edge and ink writing on rear (top RH corner).
