Ananda Shankar needs no fresh introduction. Since his first LP- recorded abroad a couple of years ago, he has dominated the local music scene experimenting, breaking traditions and establishing style creating new sounds, weaving new patterns. His music is full of surprises. 'My music represents the present age' says Ananda Shankar. '' music is the field where the younger generation can unite and work in harmony to create a melodious little world, all their own-where they and their listeneres can find solace, peace and joy''.

The second LP by Ananda Shankar is a total stunner!!! First side of the LP is killer Indian funk with amazing rock band and sitar concept -- hair raising, ear-twitching superb Indian funk. On side B Ananda shows a much more psychedelic side of his music which would stand anyone in this field of music with shame -- absolutely mind melting sitar psych!

Die Platte ist erhalten:  Visuell EX, akustisch EX+ mit klarem dynamischem Sound. Eine Ausnahme bildet das erste Stück der B-Seite (Dawn): bei diesem Stück (und während der ersten 3-4 Umdrehungen am Anfang der A-Seite) gibt es ein leichteres Hintergrundknistern; dieses Stück bewerte ich akustisch mit Vg bis Vg+. Die Platte ist noch nicht gewaschen.

 The condition of the record is:  EX visually, acoustically strong EX with a clear dynamic sound. An exception is the first track of the B-side (Dawn):  in this piece (and during the first 3-4 roundings at the beginning of the A-side), there are slight background-crackles; this track I rate acoustically VG to VG +. The disc is not yet washed.

BEWERTUNG

Wir bewerten alle Platten sehr sorgfältig sowohl akustisch als auch visuell nach den UK RECORD COLLECTOR Standards:

M > MINT : Die Platte ist brandneu ohne jegliche Gebrauchsspuren oder Einschränkungen in der Klangqualität. Das Cover sowie Textblätter, Poster, Booklets usw. sind ebenfalls in perfekter Qualität.

EX > EXZELLENT : Die Platte zeigt nur minimale Abspielspuren und Abstriche an der Klangqualität sind sehr gering. Ähnliches gilt für das Cover.

VG > VERY GOOD : Man sieht der Platte an, daß sie des öfteren abgespielt worden ist; leichte Kratzer und Gebrauchsspuren sind vorhanden. Die Klangqualität ist jedoch noch gut. Das Cover hat Gebrauchsspuren, jedoch keine größeren Schäden.

G > GOOD : Verkaufen wir nur, wenn die Platte sehr selten ist. Bitte in der jeweiligen Artikelbeschreibung nachlesen.

+ / - : Erlaubt eine noch genauere Bewertung.

CO > CUT-OUT : das Cover hat ein kleines Loch oder einen Schnitt

WOC : das Cover hat einen Stempel oder eine Beschriftung

VERPACKUNG

Wir nehmen alle Platte für den Versand aus dem Cover, um ein Durchschlagen während des Transports zu verhindern. Jede Singel erhält eine Innenhülle und eine Plastik-Aussenhülle. Der Versand erfolgt in einer bruchsicheren, eckgeschützten Spezialverpackung.

GRADING

Records are carefully graded using the UK RECORD COLLECTOR system:

M > MINT : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX > EXCELLENT : The record shows few signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG > VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G > GOOD : We do not to sell records that are in less than very good condition, unless they are extremely rare. Please see our individual description for these items.

+ / - : plus and minus allows an even more individual grading

CO > CUT OUT : The cover has a tiny hole or cut

WOC : Writing or stamp on cover

WOL : Writing or stamp on label

PACKAGING
Items are removed from their outer sleeves and supplied with a protective outer and inner sleeve. All singles are shipped in a breakproof, cornerprotected package.
