Description

Offered is a scarce example of Andy Warhol album cover art. Warhol created this piece in 1949 as a young illustrator in New York City.

This is:
 "Salome- Final Scene"--Richard Strauss: Ljuba Welitsch, soprano, with Fritz Reiner conducting the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
         
 "Tatiana's Letter Scene" (words by Pushkin)--Ljuba Welitsch, soprano, and The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind.
This is a 10" record on the Columbia label, ML-2048.  This record was issued in 1949.         



Fully Play Graded:  Record plays through with surface sound, VG minus.

Labels:  VG++.
