NOTES: Banana is partially peeled in an almost fascinatingly bad way. Gatefold cover has following issues: shelf wear, small purplish stain bottom right front that also goes into gatefold, back cover has old store stamp and price sticker, seam splits of 3 inches on top and 2 inches on bottom back corners. Record has good gloss with a few small scratches. There are no skips or sticks. Side 2 plays really strong with nice clarity and minimal surface noise. Side 1 has some mild to medium surface noise in parts, but nothing awful. Ignoring surface noise, the music on this copy sounds better (clearer with more punch) than other originals I've heard, so maybe this is a "hot stamper" of sorts.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
