Very rare and incredible slice of Quebec bossa jazz funk recorded in Quebec City in the mid 70's. This is an excellent, one-time collaboration between two of Quebec's well-known jazz artists, Vic Angelillo and Henri Hamel. Includes the beautifully smoooooth Yolanda Lisi vocal funk cut "Je Veux Te Dire Une Chanson" (compiled on Dusty Fingers) and four top-notch instrumentals including the awesome title track, and the great "Cephalée", a sweet bossa monster dripping with Rhodes!
With Vic Angelillo (electric & stand-up bass), Henri Hamel (piano), Gérard Hébert (piano, electric piano), Phil Gagnon (drums, percussion), Richard Ring (acoustic guitars, zither), additional sax, flute, trumpet and strings, as well as gorgeous vocal jazz interpretations by Ranee Lee, Claude Léveillée, Yolanda Lisi, Leo Monast and Jacques Yvart.
