Here is the soundtrack album for the Frances Ford Coppola movie "Apocalypse Now." This is a test pressing record. Pressed at Allied Record Company, Los Angeles. Later released by Elektra/Asylum Records. #DP-90001. In stereo. The record is in new condition. No finger prints, skips, scratches, or sticking. Unplayed. I've owned this since it was released and its been in my album rack in my living room ever since. The gatefold jacket which contains on the inside snapshots from the movie and sleeve are still in like new condition. The reflection in the image below is from my window which was right next by.
"Apocalypse Now" was a 1979 American epic war film directed, produced, and co-written by Francis Ford Coppola. It was co-written by John Milius with narration written by Michael Herr. It starred Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Martin Sheen, Frederic Forrest, Albert Hall, Sam Bottoms, Laurence Fishburne, and Dennis Hopper. PLOT: In 1969, during the Vietnam War, United States Army Special Forces Colonel Walter E. Kurtz has gone insane and now commands his own Montagnard troops, inside neutral Cambodia, as a demi-god. Colonel Lucas and General Corman, increasingly concerned with Kurtz's vigilante operations, assign MACV-SOG Captain Benjamin L. Willard to "terminate" Kurtz "with extreme prejudice".
